Funeral Services for Gail "Gammy" Hubbartt, 80, of Avinger, have been scheduled for Friday, April 19, 2024, at 2pm in the Cpt. Wm. Perry Chapel of Haggard Funeral Home with Pastor John Taylor officiating and under the direction of Haggard Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Pruitt Lake Cemetery. A time of visitation has been scheduled for Thursday, April 18, 2024, from 6 to 8pm in the Cpt. Wm. Perry Chapel of Haggard Funeral Home.  

Gail “Gammy” Hubbartt was so loved and appreciated by both family and friends.  She married our dad, Raymond N Hubbartt, on March 5th, 1966, in Apopka, Florida.   She adored and supported him as a Pastor's wife in the Seventh-day Adventist Church throughout his career, holding a multitude of job titles within each church.   She loved and assisted each member, endearing herself and Pastor Hubbartt to them, wherever they were called to serve.  They celebrated their 50th Anniversary in 2016, before losing her lifelong Husband, Partner and Best Friend a year later.

Gail and Ray raised 3 children together, Rhonda Hubbartt Norman, Martin Ray Hubbartt, and Jill Hubbartt Baugous.    They enjoyed nothing more than camping and traveling across the Country in their Airstream Camper, adventuring as far as Alaska on more than one occasion.

Gail had a love for animals unequalled by anyone else I've known!   No matter the size or type of living creature, their problems were solved if they were in need, and lucky enough to cross paths with our Mom!    As she and Ray neared retirement age, she became heavily involved in raising and breeding Rottweilers, a passion she never tired of, right up until the day she took her final rest, April 13, 2024.

Gammy, as she came to be called, was Blessed with 8 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Grandchildren.   She made an admirable effort to make each and every Holiday and Birthday a truly special occasion!   Lots of pictures throughout, but on Special Holidays, it required a group photo next to her old Wagon that she loved so much!   That picture frequently made it into her Annual Christmas Letter, along with a few favorite Rottweiler pups.

She will be dearly missed and remembered by Family, extended Family, and a multitude of both new and longtime friends.

She is preceded in death by Parents Loren & Worthie Northrup, Husband Raymond Neil Hubbartt, Son Martin Ray Hubbartt & Great Grandson Tyler Heiliger.

Gail Hubbartt is survived by Daughters, Rhonda Norman & Husband Ron, Jill Baugous & husband Leonard; Grandchildren, Michelle Heiliger & husband David, James Caldwell & wife Misty, R.J. Norman & wife Natalie, Jennifer Kageman & husband Derek, Rob Hubbartt & wife Darlene, Diane Mathews, Ashley Guzman & husband Martin, & Brooke Mathews.  18 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Grandchildren.

Those serving as pallbearers are James Caldwell, Eli Berry, Martin Guzman, David Heiliger, Zachary Heiliger, and Leonard Baugous.
